Student leadership
Young people are leading right now, -not just in the future, by driving policy change and raising awareness about environmental issues they are passionate about. Youth movements are defined by energy, fresh perspectives, and a willingness to take risks to challenge outdated norms in order to drive creative solutions.
LivGreen wants to empower and support the young people in Livingston to create action for the environment and to know that they belong in the conversations about how we shape and steward our natural resources locally and also in the policy decisions that affect New Jersey and beyond.
We have seen our student representatives drive actions like Skip the Stuff, the Climate Superfund Act and Environmental Justice to the fore.
