Signs of Spring

This probably isn’t the first time i’ve disclosed my mild obsession for WNYC’s Brian Lehrer show! …. and yes I am drinking out of the funding drive mug as I write this, but it’s the matching socks that make me a super fan! I’m unashamed and recommend a dose to anyone uninitiated, especially Health & Climate Tuesdays!

Brain (we are on first name terms) has launched #BLWild a year long series on local wildlife, inviting us to share photos and tag Brian!

This project starts by asking “what are the signs of spring that you’re observing?”

LivGreen wants to join in! Let’s do this together and add some life to our screens.

Take a photo of your spring inspirations, tag @brianlehrershow and also tag @LivGreenTeam. Use the Hashtag #BLWild

I’ve just posted a photo of snowdrops that I saw on a walk in Maplewood - these always popped up in our driveway at home, my mum planted them everywhere along with crocuses also covered the whole stray, a 200acre park land preserved in the middle of the town where I grew up in the UK, and always bloomed around my birthday! Fun Fact: crocus actually generate their own heat to break through the frost.

Anyway, I digress, here’s a link to the first episode if you want to listen. Let’s get sharing, add your photos, thoughts, a haiku - whatever feels good!
