“When we try to pick out anything by itself, we find it hitched to everything else in the universe”
livingston environmental network
Livingston has a number of committees who support environmental stewardship. They are formed of Town Council members and community volunteers who give their time and experience to help create positive opportunity for environmental protection, action, and education.
Each group or committee has a focus, but just as in life, our aims often overlap, and we benefit from coordinating and working together.
LivGreen seeks to highlight all those groups in one place (on this website!) and start the path of improving communication between our groups and with you!
There is always room to grow.
Livingston environmental network
Goal: Livingston can be a state leader for the environment; by building collaboration, advocacy, and opportunities for innovation.
to achieve this we need a coordinated set of committees driving Action. we must:
Know each others skills and strengths.
Maintain a clear vision of our own goals.
Collaborate to create stronger programs.
Communicate and engage wider communities as one voice.

Climate Revolution Action Network
CRAN describe: We are Gen Z in New Jersey. We have grown up in a state that has been flooding, burning, and, most importantly, failing to protect the people who live here. While billionaires profit, we are stuck with a disjointed system: broken transit, poisoned water, exploitative cost of rents, and heat waves and forest fires that kill. We cannot and will not wait for change — we’re building it. This is our mission. This is the future we’re fighting for.
