Subscribers will be sent a welcome email with all the relevant details and a code to access the compost toter at Town Hall. The composting drop-off site will be equipped with a secure, locked toter accessible only to registered subscribers. Participants will use certified compostable bags to deposit their food scraps, making the process clean, odor-free, and convenient. All collected materials will be transported to the AgChoice Commercial Composting facility in Andover, NJ, where they will be processed into high-quality compost.

Residents can compost a wide variety of organic materials, including:

• Fruits and vegetables

• Bread, nuts, and grains

• Dairy, eggs, and eggshells

• Meat, bones, and seafood (cooked and uncooked)

• Coffee grounds, filters, and tea bags

• Flowers and small houseplants

The free drop-off scheme does not provide compost back to subscribers. However, each spring a toter of compost will be provided to the Township and will be donated to one of the school or community gardens.
