Drive Electric Earth Month
Essex County Environmental Center hosts the counties annual Earth Day Fair. This year LivGreen supported the hard work of David Alexander and his team, by partnering with “Drive Electric Earth Month’ and sharing information and electric car display at the event. Despite being delayed a day due to rain the fair was still attended by over 500 people and a wonderful chance to share and connect about steps we can take to stay sustainable.
Drive Electric Earth Month is a national campaign to share information about electric vehicles throughout the month of April. In addition to being better for the environment, electric vehicles are more fun to drive, more convenient to fuel and less expensive to operate than gasoline vehicles. Towns and community groups can sign up to host events. A big thank you goes to volunteers and electric car enthusiasts Raghu, Vinitha and their two children Ilisha and Rudra, for spearheading this message for LivGreen, and sharing their car and knowledge with our community.
We hope to do more to promote renewable energy and electrification in Livingston. If you’re interested in supporting those efforts reach out at livgreenteam@gmail.com
