Trails & Greenways committee lead passaic River trail Snag clearance.

Richard Cornell, Trails & Greenways Chair facilitated the removal of snags along the canoe routes in the Passaic River. Volunteers, including LivGreen members, launched from Okner Field and helped cut and pull trees and branches that block access along the river.

Two clearances took place on Saturday October 18 and 25, luckily in beautiful weather and enjoying Heron, turtles and other wildlife along the way!

We are lucky to have this amazing free recreational resource on our doorstep. Thank you to Richard and his team for keeping this available to us all.
