LivGreen Book Club
Now Reading: “here comes the sun by bill mckibben”
Join us to discuss and select our next book 3rd June, 7pm!
“Our climate, and our democracy, are melting down. But Bill McKibben, one of the first to sound the alarm about the climate crisis, insists the moment is also full of possibility. Energy from the sun and wind is suddenly the cheapest power on the planet and growing faster than any energy source in history―if we can keep accelerating the pace, we have a chance.”
We will be discussing themes from the book, your perspectives and how we can make solar more accessible in Livingston.
About LivGreen Book Club:
Let's get together and delve into engaging green themes through a variety of books, articles or podcasts. Whether storytelling or documented research - we can share our perspectives, take-aways and how the themes relate to actions we could take in our community, and for the planet. The discussion will be moderated by Alison Barmas Chair of LivGreen.
LivGreen is a virtual book club for the environmentally curious!
The meeting is free and open to everyone ages 18 and up. The Zoom link will be emailed the day before the event.
