Community Composting Drop-Off Program: subscriptions Go live today!
The Township of Livingston is proud to announce the launch of a new Community Composting Drop-Off Program in partnership with Java’s Compost. Starting June 1, 2026, Livingston residents will have convenient access to food scrap composting services in the Town Hall parking lot, marking a significant step forward in the township’s commitment to environmental sustainability and waste reduction.
The program provides residents with an easy, accessible way to divert organic waste from landfills and incinerators, transforming food scraps into nutrient-rich compost. By participating, residents will help reduce greenhouse gas emissions, decrease the amount of waste sent to landfills, and contribute to building healthier soils for local communities.
